Angry Mob Set Suspected Robber Ablaze In Warri

    A robbery suspect was set ablaze by angry mob on Wednesday at Isoko quarters in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta. The deceased, aged 21, was alleged to have been a member of a five-man robbery gang terrorising the area. The suspect, who was identified simply as Ese, was said to be a bus conductor. He was alleged to have snatched a commercial bus belonging to a police officer in Enerhen road in Warri.

    The suspect, however, met his untimely death after he was sighted at a bus stop by angry mob. According to an eyewitness, the irate mob hit him with hard objects before setting him ablaze.

    Five suspects have been killed in the last two months in Warri and its environs through jungle justice. Meanwhile, Police have also arrested seven persons in connection of the death of the 21-year old.
