Mohbad: Iyabo Ojo blasts VeryDarkMan in live session

Actress Iyabo Ojo has blasted activist VeryDarkMan over his allegation that she reneged on an agreement to publicly apologise to Naira Marley and Sam Larry

Verydarkman had earlier claimed that during a meeting at the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre — attended by Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh and their legal teams — Iyabo agreed to issue a public apology for linking Marley and Larry to Mohbad’s d3ath but later backed out.

Reacting in a fresh TikTok live session, Iyabo dismissed his claims as manipulative and dishonest, labelling him “corny” and “deceitful.”

“So you had to come out and do your normal manipulating tactic. I’m a very wise woman. I’m not like you that’s very deceitful and corny. You’ve tried in all your might to bring me down, but you cannot,” she said.

Iyabo insisted that her actions were based on what she saw online after Mohbad’s passing in 2023, explaining that she had once promoted Marley’s music but was angered by certain videos following the singer’s d3ath.

“I used to promote Naira Marley’s songs until Mohbad died. I saw a video of Naira Marley dancing after Mohbad’s d3ath, I was angry,” she said.

She also referred to viral footage allegedly showing Sam Larry mocking the late singer and another video that appeared to capture a confrontation involving Mohbad and Zlatan Ibile, which she said convinced her of the bullying claims.

“As a concerned citizen and a mother, I used my platforms,” she added, maintaining that her position at the time was justified.
