VeryDarkMan has interviewed late Mohbad’s aunt, Folashade
She opened up about the troubling things she witnessed after his passing and her concerns surrounding his wife, Wunmi
According to her, when she arrived at Mohbad’s house shortly after his de..ath, she entered his room and noticed a bl00d-stained singlet.
Shocked, she immediately approached her sister, Mohbad’s mother, to find out what had happened.
“I saw a singlet with bl00d all over it. I asked my sister what happened, and she told me she had just washed Mohbad’s duvet because the bl00d on it was too much,” she said.
Folashade said she pressed further, asking why there was so much bl00d, but Mohbad’s mother said she didn’t know.
She claimed she then suggested they question Wunmi, hoping she could provide clarity, but Mohbad’s mother stopped her, saying Wunmi was still mourning and should be left alone for the time being.
She also said there was vomit on the floor in Mohbad’s room and that several people were present in the house, including Mohbad’s lawyer, a woman dressed in white, and some Islamic clerics.
Recalling the introduction ceremony between Mohbad and Wunmi, Folashade said it had been turned into a big event. She expressed disappointment that Wunmi didn’t do more to protect her husband.
“I’m a married woman. I know what I can do to shield my husband from evil. Wunmi knew Mohbad was the breadwinner; she should have protected him,” she said.
She accused Wunmi of being disrespectful and unafraid of anyone.
“Someone like that can do anything. That’s why I’ll always have issues with her.”
Folasade revealed that she wanted to ask Mohbad’s brother, Adura, what really happened but was stopped by Mohbad’s mother. She also wanted to speak with Darosha, a close associate of Mohbad, but he wasn’t in the house that day.
She recalled being angered by Wunmi’s actions immediately after Mohbad’s d8ath.
“The first thing Wunmi started fighting for was his phone. I told Adura not to give it to her. I was shocked that her husband had just d!ed, and all she cared about was his phone. I wanted to fight her that day.”
She also mentioned that a friend of Mohbad named Hayan tried to stop his mother from recording a video inside the house. Folasade said she confronted him and even fought him over it.
Concluding the interview, she said Mohbad had changed after he started his relationship with Wunmi.
“Mohbad wasn’t aggressive before he met her. They were always fighting.”.
