Spending, a close friend of the late singer Mohbad, has denied rumors circulating on social media that he’s the biological father of Mohbad’s son, Liam
The rumour arose after a blogger claimed Liam bears a striking resemblance to Spending, sparking heated debates online.
In a statement shared on his Instagram story, Spending firmly dismissed the allegations, calling for an end to the “damaging and baseless claims.”
He emphasized that he had no romantic relationship with Liam’s mother and offered to undergo a DNA test if necessary to put the rumors to rest.
Spending’s response aims to quell the controversy surrounding Liam’s paternity, which has been a topic of discussion since Mohbad’s passing in 2023.
He wrote: “I’ve been seeing several bloggers insinuating I’m Liam’s father. This is not a joke for real!! To set the record straight, I’m not his father and I never had any affectionate relationship with his mother. Y’all need to stop spreading these false narratives”
