Wunmi Aloba, Mohbad’s widow has finally agreed to a DNA test
Her counsel, Kabir Akingbolu, made this known.
During a Lagos court session, Akingbolu revealed that Omowunmi has agreed to undergo a DNA test for her son, Liam, to prove his paternity and quell doubts fueled by Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba.
Akingbolu attributed Omowunmi’s initial reluctance to undergo the test to intense pressure from Mr. Aloba and online critics, who exploited her grief.
The lawyer accused Mr. Aloba of orchestrating a media smear campaign against his daughter-in-law and grandson.
According to the lawyer, Omowunmi’s voluntary decision to take the DNA test, without court order, demonstrates her commitment to protecting her son’s dignity and Mohbad’s legacy.
