A video has captured the moment singer Teni made her way into the VIP section during a political gathering despite attempts by security officials to stop her

The singer, who appeared to be performing as the event’s guest artiste, was entertaining the crowd with her 2018 hit song ‘Case’ when she began moving toward the restricted VIP area.

The section was occupied by prominent figures including First Lady Remi Tinubu, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

As she approached the area, security operatives were seen trying to block her path and hold her back from getting close to the dignitaries. Teni, however, continued forward and eventually managed to enter the section.

Once inside, she interacted with Akpabio and Eno while still performing, urging them to join her in singing part of the song before transitioning into another track, Uyo Meyo.

At one point during the performance, the first lady was also seen addressing Teni while the singer knelt in front of her, though it was not immediately clear what was said.

Reacting to the event later in a Facebook post, Governor Eno thanked the president’s wife for her presence and the encouraging words she shared during the gathering.

He also reiterated the federal government’s commitment to important infrastructure developments, adding that the women present at the event showed support for President Tinubu, Akpabio, and himself ahead of the 2027 elections.
