Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been fined £80,000 after criticizing referee Robert Jones for a lack of neutrality during the 2-2 draw with Tottenham on February 1
City had taken a 2-0 lead by halftime, but Tottenham staged a comeback, with Dominic Solanke scoring twice to secure a point.

Rodri was particularly frustrated by Solanke’s first goal, in which the striker appeared to foul Marc Guehi.
Speaking after the match, Rodri said: “I know we won too much and the people don’t want us to win, but the referee has to be neutral. It’s not fair because we work so hard. When everything is finished, you are frustrated because the foul is so clear.”
