Nollywood actor, Femi Jacobs, has reminded people to stop pretending and accept the fact that people change when money sets in
The actor questioned the expectation that people remain unchanged despite increased wealth.
“Why do people always expect that people wouldn’t change when money enters the picture?” Jacobs asked.
“That’s self-righteousness at its peak.”
He emphasized that wealth inevitably alters individuals, asserting, “Even you won’t remain the same after making a certain size of fortunes.”
Jacobs’ statement highlighted the transformative power of money, citing the biblical concept of mammon as a rival to God for human hearts.
“…the only competition for Man’s heart God knows HE has is nothing else but money (mammon),” he noted.
