Mother of one of Portable’s arrested signee begs for his release

The mother of Starlight, a singer and signee of Portable’s label, has made an emotional appeal for her son’s release from detention

In a video, she is seen crying and begging Governor Dapo Abiodun to intervene and free her son.

She defended her son’s character, saying he is a gentle soul who would never harm anyone. She also revealed that Starlight has been ill since his detention and is no longer his usual self.

The mother’s emotional plea has sparked calls for Starlight’s release and reunification with his family.
