Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo recently shared a list of six kinds of men to avoid and that definitely has everyone paying attention, most especially women.
He said: “Mr ‘I want to marry a virgin‘ and you are not one.”
If he wants purity but doesn’t hold himself to the same standard, that’s a red flag.
He also warned about: “Mr. 52 but wants to marry 22…..bros that should be your child’s mate.”
At that stage, it’s not about love — it’s about ego or control.
He said: “Avoid Mr Perpetual – perpetually broke, perpetually begging and perpetually proud.”
Struggling once is human. Constant struggle combined with pride? Dangerous.
Then there’s: “Avoid Mr potential – all he has are plans but no action, has big dreams but can’t take small steps.”
Potential sounds nice, but action speaks louder.
He also called out: “Avoid the ‘all the ladies want me’ kind of guy, he strings 1000 women along and claims they are the ones disturbing him….bro, why are you allowing yourself to be disturbed….’undisturb’ yourself now in Jesus name.”
If he enjoys the chaos, don’t compete in his game.
Finally: “Avoid the ‘there’s no good women again’ brother o, no one can please him o, just run!”
If nobody is ever good enough, you will never be either.
Pastor Kingsley’s message is simple: sometimes wisdom means knowing who to avoid especially when it comes to choosing a life partner.
