Singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has praised Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale for always showing up to support his shows, even though he does not pay him for his appearances.
Mr Eazi said that while many people see Shatta Wale as someone who is unpredictable, he knows him to be a smart and genuine person who stands by the people he supports.
According to Mr Eazi, Shatta Wale’s willingness to attend his shows without expecting payment sets him apart from the other artists he works with. He said he has always paid the other performers who appear at his events, but Shatta Wale has continued to show up without receiving any money from him.
In a conversation, he said:
“Alot of people think Shatta is ma.d , like a live wire, but on the contrary, Shatta is one of the most realest and smartest person i have ever known. All the artists you see at my shows, I pay them, but I have never paid Shatta Wale, yet he always shows up at my shows.”
