Singer Mr Eazi has cautioned young couples against following every piece of relationship advice they come across.
He made the point while reflecting on his relationship with Temi Otedola and how things could have turned out differently if he had followed some of the popular advice about love and relationships.
He said:
“They said if you love them, let them go; if it’s meant to be, they will come back to you! Imagine say I listened to that advice? Smh. Please, not every advice is meant for you.”
His message was simple: what works for one relationship may not necessarily work for another.
He used his own experience to explain why couples should understand their situation instead of automatically applying every piece of advice they hear.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2022. They later married in 2025.
