Nollywood actress Dorcas Fapson, popularly known as Ms DSF, has shared a personal story about a man who rejected her because of her childhood experiences
On the podcast “Bants and Bouje” with Moet Abebe and Tolanibaj, she revealed that a man told her he couldn’t date her because she lost her mother at a young age and didn’t grow up in a “two-parent household.”
Ms DSF expressed her frustration, saying, “Could I have prevented my mom from dying? Is that my fault?”
Moet Abebe related to the experience, sharing that someone had given her a similar reason for rejection, citing their own upbringing by a single parent as the reason they didn’t want to date someone with a similar background.
Both women found this excuse unreasonable, highlighting the unfairness of judging someone based on circumstances beyond their control.
