Boxing legend Muhammad Ali will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5
Ali passed away in 2016 and will be inducted by his widow, Lonnie Ali, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ahead of WrestleMania 40. Ali joins Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, and the US Express as the class of 2024 takes shape.
While known for his boxing prowess, microphone skills, and activism, Ali’s influence transcended sports. The three-time world heavyweight champion is no stranger to the WWE as he dabbled in pro wrestling on several occasions.
Ali famously participated in an exhibition with pro wrestling legend Antonio Inoki in Tokyo in 1976. ‘The War of the Worlds’ was considered by many as the first fight in what became Mixed Martial Arts.
