Billy Joel recovered like a total pro after suffering a painful fall while performing on stage recently

The Piano Man singer, 75, was putting on a show at the Mohegan Sun resort in Connecticut on Saturday night.
However, just as he was getting into a rendition of It’s Still Rock and Roll To Me, he began twirling his microphone stand before throwing it into the crowd.

In videos of the concert, he excitedly launched the stand into the audience, but then quickly lost his balance.
Billy could be seen toppling to the floor, leaving concert-goers audibly gasping and worrying for his health.

Thankfully, the music icon’s band sprang to action and helped him up, and he was able to continue with the show, belting out one more song for fans.
However, the moment left many fearing for Billy’s future on stage, with the Daily Mail reporting that one ticket-holder said: ‘He looked frail hobbling across the stage.
‘At one point, he was using the microphone stand as a cane.
‘I was really very concerned about him throughout the concert.’
Billy has yet to publicly speak over the stage fall but he instead announced a string of history-making New York concerts, proving that he has absolutely no plans to slow down anytime soon.
