Former Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya has reacted after losing a large number of followers on X, following his comments about a recent brutal attack in Nigeria
He shared in a post:
“I woke up to some people unfollowing me. I had to check my bank account to see if it was affected also… It wasn’t.”
The backlash came after Kiddwaya tweeted differently from many users’ expectations while addressing the tragedy, including calls for donations to support victims.
Despite the unfollowing, Kiddwaya stood by his statements, emphasizing that he would not apologize for his actions and urging people to focus on holding leaders accountable rather than attacking him online.
