Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro has cried out, alleging that her husband, Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze, has threatened her life after she expressed her desire to end their marriage
The couple had a traditional wedding ceremony on April 13, 2025, in Evan’s hometown.
In a shared video, Evan Okoro claimed that she’s been living in fear due to her husband’s threats.
She stated that she’s filed a petition against him, which led to his presence at the police station.
Evan emphasized that she wants to leave the marriage and has been trying to resolve issues, but to no avail.
Evan mentioned that her husband hasn’t paid her bride price, which her family has been trying to get him to settle.
She also stated that there’s been a lack of intimacy in their marriage, despite her complaints to his family. Evan believes her husband married her under false pretenses, thinking she’s wealthy due to her pre-marital house.
Given the circumstances, Evan is seeking help and warning her husband against harming her or her family.
