Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has responded calmly to criticism from the Muslim community regarding her upcoming movie project.
A few days ago, Nancy promoted her new film on Instagram, sharing photos of herself wearing a niqab and holding a gun, as well as a photo of her cast members, one of whom was wearing a hijab in a robbery scene.

The Muslim community criticized Nancy for disrespecting their religion and its symbols. They explained the significance of the niqab and expressed frustration with people using their religious attire for personal interests.
In response, Nancy posted new photos on Instagram, emphasizing her focus on peace and personal goals.
She wrote, “Really out the way. In my own world. No drama, no gossip. Just goals and money. Peace is where I’m at.
“I don’t bother nobody & I’m not bothered by nobody. That’s my peace. To protect my peace, I stopped taking other people’s projected opinions personally.
“Reminder: Your light often highlights other people’s insecurities and shortcomings, which they will then project back to you as a flaw. It’s a coping mechanism. Attacking you makes them feel safer.
