Nigerian skit maker and musician Nasboi has spoken up after some recent comments from fellow content creator Carter Efe, reminding him and others to show respect to the online comedy world that helped launch many creators’ careers.
During a chat, Nasboi called Carter Efe a “loose talker,” but made it clear that creators shouldn’t trash the very platform that gave them fame.
“I know CarterEfe is a loose talker… Don’t speak bad about the game that made you blow,” he said.
The skit-maker didn’t stop there. He also revealed that he’s completely cut ties with another figure in the comedy scene, Okiki, explaining that he’s already blocked him. Nasboi mentioned that he’s seen Sydney Talker supporting Okiki, even giving him money and a platform.
“I already blocked Okiki… I have seen Sydney Talker give Okiki money and a platform,” Nasboi added.
This latest exchange shines a light on the complex relationships and rivalries shaping Nigeria’s online comedy scene, as digital creators continue to grow in influence across the internet.
