The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker representing Egor Constituency in the 8th Edo State House of Assembly, Natasha Osawuru, has responded to allegations made by Mrs. Rose Idibia that she gave music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, beads containing juju

Amid online speculations about 2Baba’s alleged marriage troubles, his mother called on Natasha to distance herself from her son. She further claimed that the lawmaker gifted him beads with spiritual influences.
Expressing concern, she stated, “My son is going through a divorce process, and he is clearly not in his right senses now. I know my son well. That is not him. Please, Natasha, the beads you put on his hand and on his neck, remove them and free him.”
In an interview with Nigerian journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, Natasha dismissed the claims, insisting the beads are not diabolical. She clarified that they were family heirlooms, given to her by her mother and grandfather, and 2Baba chose to wear them himself.
“Those beads were given to me on my birthday. They represent a Princess from a Royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family,” she explained.
Natasha further revealed, “On my last birthday, my mum gave me three nice beads, they call it EZENEKA, which means ‘River that never runs dry.’ The pearl on his neck was given to me by my grandad. The Queen of England gave it to him when she was alive. You know my grandad was a knight to the Queen of England.”
She insisted there was no spiritual influence behind the beads, saying, “He liked them and wore them. There is nothing to it. They are not diabolical and do not contain juju. I did not put them on him; he saw them, liked them, and wore them. If you observe, you will see that he likes beads a lot and has been wearing several before now.”
