Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, has denied reports suggesting fresh claims over alleged unpaid consultancy fees tied to his company, describing the allegations as false, misleading, and a misrepresentation of the facts.

In a statement released by his media team in Abuja on Friday, the lawmaker reacted to what he termed “malicious” publications concerning the Paris Club refund issue.

He maintained that the matter had already undergone extensive scrutiny through several investigations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, all of which reached the same conclusions.

According to the statement, four separate EFCC reviews affirmed that the contractual services in question were properly carried out, while any pending payments remain governed by existing agreements.

The statement also pointed to records from the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Nigeria, noting that both institutions have documentation supporting payments and audit processes linked to the case.

It further dismissed claims connecting the senator to any questionable dealings involving the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, describing such allegations as baseless and driven by malice.

Nwoko also accused some individuals of deliberately spreading false information, adding that legal action has already been initiated over what he described as defamatory reports.

He stressed that there is no new claim regarding the matter and firmly rejected assertions that $350 million was ever paid to him or his company.
