The Labour Party has appointed Senator Nenadi Usman as its new National Chairman following its national convention held on Tuesday in Umuahia, Abia State
The development was confirmed in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Asogwa.

Alongside Usman’s emergence, several other key officials were elected into the party’s National Working Committee. Rt. Hon. Iheanacho Obioma was named National Secretary, while Mrs. Nike Oriola emerged as Deputy National Chairman.
Ken Eluma Asogwa was elected National Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Oluchi Oparah took the role of National Organising Secretary, Comrade Anslem Eragbe became National Financial Secretary, and Hilda Dokubo was chosen as National Women Leader, among others.
Following the elections, members of the newly constituted National Working Committee were sworn in and have officially taken over their respective positions.
