Veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu has sparked controversy among her followers with her tribute post mourning the passing of her colleague, Nkechi Nweje
Nweje’s d3ath was reported over the weekend, with sources indicating that she succumbed to a brief illness.
Ngozi Ezeonu expressed shock and sadness at Nweje’s demise, revealing that she was unaware of her illness.
She described Nweje as one of the nicest people she met in Nollywood and bid her a heartfelt farewell.
She wrote; “It is so difficult to believe you are gone ezigbo nwanyi onicha.
I never knew you were ill. So I will never see your ever smiling face again. Nkechi, you were one of the nicest people I met in nollywood. This is indeed a big blow. GO WELL MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER”
However, Ngozi’s statement about being unaware of Nweje’s illness drew criticism from her followers, who questioned how she could be oblivious to her colleague’s health struggles.
