The company will introduce a biracial, same-sex couple in an upcoming episode of its animated series Loud House, making it the first show in Nickelodeon history to feature a married, same-sex couple, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The cartoon show focuses on the life of 11-year-old Lincoln Loud who lives with 10 sisters. Many have taken to Twitter to praise Nickelodeon for the progressive move.
