Nicole Kidman is reportedly determined to reconnect with her adopted children Isabella and Connor following her mother Janelle’s death in September.
A family friend told New Idea magazine: “Losing her mum has made Nicole not want to waste any more time. It hurt Janelle that she and husband Antony were estranged from [Isabella and Connor].”
The source added: “They were their first two grandchildren and were once very close. It was a deep regret that they were unable to see her in person before she died.”

Adopted during Kidman’s marriage to Tom Cruise in the early 90s, Isabella (31) and Connor (29) have been estranged from their mother since 2001, reportedly siding with their father.
Kidman’s mother passed away just hours before she won Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival.
In her emotional acceptance speech, she said: “Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother has just passed… she shaped me, guided and made me.”
The actress has four children: Bella and Connor with Cruise, and daughters Sunday (16) and Faith (13) with her current husband Keith Urban.
