The eldest son of the late Commissioner, Robert Sobulor, confirmed
the death and said he got the news around midnight Nigerian time when his
sister who had gone with him for the treatment called him.

Late Mr. Sobulor was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of
Police and posted to Ikeja police college in 2014. He will be buried in the US,
his family has said.
