The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an ICT firm, Connect Spectrum,
Gabriel Okwuche, has said arrangements have been concluded for the local
production of USB flash drives in Nigeria.

Mr. Okwuche disclosed this in an interview today with the News Agency of
Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, while speaking on the influx of substandard ICT
products in the market.

He said his firm distributes various ICT materials such as flash drives
and memory cards, but that the local production of such items would go a long
way in checking the inferior brands in the market and that is one of the
reasons they want to go into production business.
