A Nigerian boy blocked his father on TikTok, leading to a big issue when the father found out.
The father was determined to connect with his son and managed to see his TikTok videos despite being blocked.
The boy shared a post on his TikTok account @fiyinisnotakid, showing his father’s reaction after discovering the block.
The father sent a voice message expressing his frustration and critiquing one of his son’s videos, where the boy pretended to cry while listening to a foreign song. The father questioned why he was so emotional about a song that didn’t mean anything to him and whether he understood the lyrics.
In his words: “For over 3 to 4 days I have been finding how to get to you. It is like you blocked me. But you thought you are wise. You blocked me but I am able to see you. So you are still on TikTok? Look at what you posted. You don’t even know that song and you are so sober and crying.
“What’s all this that you are doing? What are you crying for? You did not even cry for yourself or for your country you are crying for a foreign song. Do you even know the meaning of that song? Stubborn and silly boy. I know what to do.”
