The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has addressed VeryDarkman’s allege arrest as an invite, regarding suspicions of character defamation and others
According to the spokesperson of the police command, Josephine Adeh, she asserted that he was invited for questioning to address these allegations.
Adeh stated, “The FCT Police Command wishes to clarify that VeryDarkMan was not arrested by the police but was only invited for questioning on the allegations of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and defamation of character.”
However, activist Deji Adeyanju claimed that VeryDarkMan was arrested on orders from Police Commissioner Benneth Igweh for exposing a Nigerian accused of fraud abroad.
Deji Adeyanju argued that instead of arresting the alleged fraudster, the police arrested VeryDarkMan on defamation charges.
