Nigerians have taking to Twitter to congratulate political activist, Deji Adeyanju after the Kano State High Court today discharged and acquitted him of murder charges.
He was first charged with murder in 2005 at the Kano State High Court, but was discharged and acquitted in 2009 after a lengthy trial. He was then re-arrested in December 2018, over allegations he was involved in a murder in Kano in 2005. He has now been discharged and acquitted a second time.
