Tiwa Savage has shared her insights on the Nigerian entertainment industry, highlighting the impact of the country’s economic challenges on its creative talents

Speaking on the “Shopping The Sneakers” podcast, Tiwa discussed the challenges of living in Nigeria and how it molds the country’s entertainers.
According to Tiwa, the hardships faced by Nigerians foster a strong work ethic and hustle mentality among artists. She emphasized that surviving in Nigeria is an important accomplishment, and this is shown in the resilience of the average Nigerian artists.
Tiwa noted that Nigeria’s challenging environment breeds a unique type of superstar – one who is driven, determined, and equipped to overcome obstacles.
She stated, “When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else, so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”
