Family has announced plans to honor the late filmmaker and actor Kayode Peters, who passed away on June 28, 2025
The tributes was posted by comedian, Teju Babyface.
Two tributes are scheduled: one in Lagos on July 22 and another in London on July 29.
A burial service will be held in Toronto on August 2.
Teju shared a poster with the details, expressing sadness and inviting those who wish to support Peters’ family to reach out.

Teju captioned the post, “With hearts heavy with profound sadness, we share the initial plans for the interment of our beloved friend and brother, Kayode Peters Adewunmi. Further details will follow shortly.

Peters, who celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary just before his passing, will be remembered through these tributes.
