the Nigerian students on Monday and have been holding them as prisoners at
an occupied government security building, close to the Russian border.

The Rebels seeking greater autonomy have been waging a
bloody battle in eastern Ukraine against the government and by so doing
kidnapped nine Nigerian students schooling in the country.

Relatives of the kidnapped students have also been making
efforts to hold a press conference at the Nigerian Embassy in Ukraine since their abduction on Monday.
