Nkechi Blessing has publicly apologised to the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and its president, Mr. Latin

In 2021, Nkechi and fellow actress Iyabo Ojo publicly condemned Baba Ijesha for allegedly defiling the foster child of comedian Princess.
This stance was met with disapproval from TAMPAN, leading to conflicts with members like Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Maimi, who criticized their actions.
In response to the controversy, veteran actor Jide Kosoko announced a ban on directors in the association from collaborating with Nkechi and Iyabo. Following this, Nkechi expressed her discontent with the association’s decision, suggesting they were hindering individuals who could support future generations and labeling the board as lawless.
She acknowledged her previous remarks and apologized for being disrespectful to both Jide Kosoko and TAMPAN.
During the Celebrities Entertainment Awards in Canada, Nkechi took the opportunity to apologize to Mr. Latin and TAMPAN.
A video circulating online shows her on her knees with a microphone as she expressed her regrets to the association.

But the Court judgment vindicated any utterance they made; he was found guilty. May our source of livelihood not be placed in such situations.
