Nollywood is mourning the death of actor Odira Nwobu, who has finally been laid to rest following a prolonged delay and public discussion surrounding the circumstances of his d.eath.
The news of his burial was confirmed by content creator Iyoo Kashout, who shared an emotional message paying tribute to the actor and reflecting on the difficult wait leading up to the final rites.
He noted that the period was marked by pain, uncertainty, and an autopsy process that contributed to the postponement of the burial.
Odira Nwobu reportedly d.ied while on a trip to South Africa, a development that initially sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and among his fans back home.
Following the completion of necessary procedures, his remains have now been laid to rest bringing a measure of closure to his family, friends, and colleagues in the Nollywood community.
Since the announcement, tributes have continued to flow on social media, with many remembering him for his work in the Nigerian film industry and praying for the peaceful rest of his soul.
