Actor Sylvester Madu, popularly known as Shina Rambo, has denied allegations that he sells second-hand clothes, also known as okrika

The denial came in an interview with media personality Patience Yisa, where Madu addressed a viral video from 2023 that showed him selling clothes on the floor of a market in Enugu.
The video sparked rumors that he was an okrika dealer, but Madu clarified that the clothes he was selling were not necessarily second-hand.
He explained that he imports clothes from the U.S. and has multiple shops with staff who sell on his behalf.
Madu emphasized that he has been in the business for over 30 years and actively monitors his operations.
He said: “First of all, I don’t sell okrika. Those clothes I was filmed selling are not necessarily okrika because they were on the floor. I don’t sell okrika. I import from I sell from the U.S.
“I have multiple shops and I have boys who sell for me. I don’t do big man, I go to the field to sell by myself. I have a lot of people selling for me. I have different shops. I monitor my business. I have been doing this business for over 30 years.”
