In the snap, she wore her brunette hair in four braids with blue highlights twisted through her strands.
She also showed off a series of faux face tattoos, including a star under her eye and her name written in cursive on her other cheek. She teamed the look with bright blue contacts, a black grill, long lashes and a faux septum piercing.
North styled her look with a baggy black T-shirt and layered silver chains, pearls and cross necklaces around her collar. She completed her look with a hena tattoo on her hand and pink glittery jewelry.
She posed alongside two friends who matched her in different colors.
“🩷🩵💚,” she captioned the post. “#northforever.”
In another snap, North confirmed that her look was temporary while posing alongside her friends. “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life,” she wrote in the caption.
Social media users were quick to share their opinions via X on Tuesday, October 21. “She’s TWELVE??” one wrote, while another commented that it was a “shocking new look.”
More defended North’s moment, writing, “It’s really not that serious, hence the word ‘fake.’” Another commented, “None of you tried fake tattoos as kids??”
