Former Governor of Adamawa State, Admiral Murtal Nyako (retd.), who was
impeached few months ago and openly declared wanted by EFCC is returning back
to the country after he hurriedly fled the country shortly after he was
impeached from office. As a matter of fact, Nyako is currently in a Lufthansa
Airline on his way back to Nigeria from London where he had fled to.

Nyako had said his impeachment came as a result of the disagreement he had
with former President Goodluck Jonathan. He had also accused the then President
of having hands in Boko Haram and even wrote him a lengthy letter accusing him
of being anti-people.

One of his political aides has however confirmed he is returning because
there is now a new government.
