Rapper Odumodublvck has addressed a viral video of a dramatic moment at the 17th Headies Awards, where he refused to leave the stage during his acceptance speech
In a tweet, Odumodublvck revealed that he was cut off for mentioning Jesus Christ, speculating that mentioning Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu would have been more acceptable.
Despite the incident, Odumodublvck expressed gratitude to the Headies for allowing him to continue spreading his message after his mic was turned back on.
He reaffirmed his devotion to Jesus Christ, stating “JESUS IS KING.”
His tweet reads,“I WAS TALKING ABOUT JESUS AND THEY TRIED TO SHUT ME DOWN. I AM HUNDRED PERCENT SURE THAT IF I WAS TALKING ABOUT HIS EXCELLENCY GOVERNOR BABAJIDE SANWO- OLU I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CUT OFF.
I GENUINELY HAVE NO BAD BLOOD TOWARDS THE HEADIES,RATHER, I AM GRATEFUL THEY PUT MY MIC BACK ON TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL.
