Odumodublvck has shared his account of the dramatic stage collapse during his performance at the Nativeland Festival on December 21, 2024

Despite the chaotic scene, Odumodublvck revealed in an interview with HIP TV that he remained calm throughout the ordeal, crediting his faith for keeping him composed.
The artist emphasized the complexities of organizing large-scale events, highlighting the multiple entities involved in production, lighting, sound, and security.
He noted that mishaps like the stage collapse should not be attributed to a single entity.
Odumodublvck also acknowledged the investigation launched by the festival organizers, Native, in collaboration with the stage and production company.
The incident occurred during a highly anticipated festival featuring prominent acts, including Central Cee, Bloody Civilian, and DJ Tunez.
He said: “Situations like that can be avoided, and I think the company that hosted the show, which is Native, released a statement that they’re carrying out investigations with the stage and production company.
“People don’t know things like this. When they say come and do shows, there’s a production company, light people, sound people and security.”
“People think it’s just one person, but it’s good to educate people that there are different factions of this thing to put up a show.
“You can’t really point fingers at one person or everyone for one person’s mistake. All in all, we thank God nobody died, and the casualties have been taken care of to the best of my knowledge.”
