Rapper Offset was seen outside a Florida hospital after being shot on Monday night near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida
He sustained non‑life‑threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition. In a photo shared online, Offset was spotted smoking a cigarette outside the hospital as he recovered.
Two people were taken into custody following the incident, including rapper Lil Tjay, who was arrested on misdemeanor disorderly conduct‑affray charges.
Authorities have clarified that Lil Tjay has not been charged in connection with actually shooting Offset, and his lawyer denies any involvement in the attack.
Rumors have circulated linking the shooting to a longstanding dispute between the two artists over a reported $10,000 gambling debt, though law enforcement has not confirmed any connection between the debt and the shooting. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather details.
