Oko Amakor Pupils In Delta State Still Learning With Scorpions Despite N34m Donation

Pupils at the Delta State Government-owned Oko -Amakor
Primary School, Oko near Asaba-Onitsha Head Bridge have raised alarm on the re-occurrence
of scorpions and rodents in the school premises despite Julius Berger Nigeria
Limited donating the sum of N34m to the State Government for the school’s
renovation. Their parents and other residents last week took to the streets to
protest if the said amount was actually spent and why the bushes have remained if
    they spent the whole money.
The State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education,
Mr. Chinedu Ebie has however stepped into the case and said the case will be
    looked into.
