Wizkid has fired back at veteran singer, 2Baba after the latter placed Burna Boy above him on the international scene
2Baba recently spoke with Seun Okinbaloye about Nigeria’s “Big 3” — Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy — artists widely regarded as the country’s most influential global music exports.
When asked who he considered the top Nigerian musician globally, 2Baba singled out Burna Boy as the leading figure.
Wizkid, however, took to Snapchat to respond sharply, calling 2Baba an “old man” and urging him to focus on resolving personal matters before commenting on music.
“At least make peace with your family first before having opinions about music. Old man,” Wizkid wrote, adding, “I’m never letting it slack in 2026.”
