The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has officially denied any WhatsApp conversation with socialite King Mitchy (Mukoro Michelle).
According to Oba Omotoyosi Bayo Akinyele, who spoke on behalf of the palace via X, the alleged WhatsApp message circulating online is “fake and fabricated.”
He added, “I urge everyone to stop engaging these clout chasers on this matter further.”
This statement puts an official end to claims suggesting that the revered monarch personally praised King Mitchy on WhatsApp, clearing the air and closing the loop on the ongoing controversy.
