Opeyemi Famakin’s experience with Nigerian stocks has not been a pleasant one, especially after putting about ₦2 million into Tantalizer.
The investment turned out badly for him, leaving him with a significant loss. For Famakin, it is an example of how unpredictable the Nigerian stock market can be, where an investment can either work out well or go in the opposite direction.
He described the situation as particularly frustrating because the market has been seeing a lot of red, making it difficult for investors to watch their money lose value.
In a post on his page, he said:
“₦2 million naira gone after investing in Nigeria stocks. Investing in Nigeria stocks is either the best or worst thing that would happen to you cause everywhere is just red. Last time I invested in stocks I invested around ₦2 million in tantalizer and it is one of the worst stock I have invested in”.
