For two Nigerians who recently returned from South Africa, the journey back home has come with a fresh opportunity to rebuild their lives.
After receiving accommodation and other support from Omega Power Ministries (OPM), two members of the group have now secured employment through the church.
Taking to his page, the founder of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, shared the update, explaining that the two women would immediately resume work in roles that match their professional experience.
He wrote:
“One of the South African returnees is a registered nurse and was working in a big hospital in South Africa before she was chased away by South Africa’s touts. I just gave her an instant employment. Another one was teaching at a school in South Africa. She was also giving an automatic employment as a teacher in one of the 43 free schools.”
The latest development comes as OPM continues to support Nigerians who recently returned from South Africa. The returnees have already been provided with temporary accommodation, medical care, food supplies, and other basic household items, while school-age children are also being prepared to resume classes at the ministry’s free schools.
For the nurse and the teacher, the immediate job offers mark an early step toward settling back into life in Nigeria and starting over with stable employment.
