Actress and TV host Osas Ighodaro is set to star in a new micro-drama series, Imported Bahu, marking another major collaboration between Nollywood and Bollywood.
The announcement was made on Monday by executive producer Hamisha Daryani Ahuja via Instagram. She revealed that the comedy-drama will feature Osas alongside Indian actor and model Rajniesh Duggall.

According to Ahuja, Imported Bahu tells the story of love, hidden family secrets and an unconventional cross-cultural relationship that shakes up an entire family.
The series is scheduled to premiere on July 2, 2026, exclusively on LebaraPlay, described as Africa’s first telecom-owned micro-drama streaming platform.
Announcing the project, Ahuja wrote: “For months, we’ve been keeping a secret. Today, we’re finally sharing it. Introducing Imported Bahu — @forever7entertainment’s first vertical microdrama series.”

She concluded the post by asking fans: “And one question… Do you know what a vertical drama is?”
