Victor Osimhen marked a strong return from injury on Sunday, finding the net as Galatasaray delivered a dominant 3–0 win over rivals Fenerbahçe in a high-stakes Istanbul derby
The Super Eagles striker opened the scoring in the 40th minute, finishing off a commanding first-half performance from the league leaders after returning from a spell on the sidelines.

Fenerbahçe had earlier missed a golden opportunity to take control of the game when Anderson Talisca failed to convert a penalty in the 13th minute, a miss that proved costly.
The match swung further in Galatasaray’s favour after the restart when Fenerbahçe were reduced to 10 men following Ederson’s red card in the 62nd minute.
Just five minutes later, Baris Alper Yilmaz doubled the lead from the penalty spot, effectively putting the game beyond reach.
Lucas Torreira added the third goal in the 83rd minute to complete a convincing victory for Okan Buruk’s side in one of Turkish football’s most intense rivalries.
The result strengthens Galatasaray’s position at the top of the Turkish Super Lig with 64 points, extending their lead over Fenerbahçe to seven points as the title race continues.
