Relatives of football star Victor Osimhen have accused him of abandoning them in their village despite his success
In a video shared on social media, two elderly men claiming to be Osimhen’s uncles expressed their disappointment, stating they grew up with his father and were surprised he seemed unaware of his roots.
They recounted shared experiences, including attending the same primary school and learning to drive together, before Osimhen’s father relocated to Lagos.
The relatives expressed hurt that Osimhen has not acknowledged or supported them despite his fame.
They said:
“The father is of the same grandfather with me, we surprise how that boy say he no know say…,, the father grew from here, we attended the same primary school here. From here he learnt driving before him comot. That time him never marry, him marry from Lagos….”
