I reached out to Phyno for ”Osinachi” but Davido called to be on the remix – Humble Smith

Humble Smith has talked about how his song, ”Osinachi” came to be. He revealed that he was actually struggling financially and on this particular day, he went to church to beg for money to feed.

He said when he got to church, something told him, he is not a beggar, then he started writing. He said he wrote the sing in church.

After writing the song, his team told him, he needed to put a superstar on the song, so the song can go viral. He contacted Phyno and we all know how that ended.

On how he got Davido on the remix, Smith said, OBO actually called in to be on the remix, and that was it. He then thanked baba Imade again for the blessing.

He revealed this while speaking in an interview with reality star, Kimoprah on Hip TV’s Trending.

He said; “I wrote ‘Osinachi’ in the church. I went to church to beg for money to feed. But when I got to the church, something told me I’m not a beggar. So, God blessed me with the song in the church.”

On how he got Phyno on the song and Davido on the remix, Humble Smith said, “After recording the song, they [my team] were like, ‘Guy you never blow, you need to put person [superstar] for the song to blow.’

“So, we had to reach out to Phyno for that. Then after reaching out to Phyno, the song started making waves, and Davido called for the remix. Big thanks to him.”
